Foreign Travel Tips

• Don’t forget your passport and (if needed) travel visa.
• Make copies of your passport and driver’s license and store separately from your IDs (copies can be very helpful if documents are lost or stolen).
• Consider your currency options: travelers’ checks, changing money, using foreign ATMs, etc.
• Bring a guidebook(s).
• Bring a small dictionary or phrase book if you do not speak the language.
• Make sure you have all required shots and vaccinations required for travel to the location.
• Take along electricity converters, if needed for hair dyers etc.
